If there is a situation where key data has been replaced and needs to be restored there is a Jet report which is scheduled which backs up 7 major tables.
These tables are:
- Item Category
- Item Cost and Freight
- Customer
- Item
- Ship-To
- UOM
- Vendors
These files are located here:
- K:\Marketing\BC Exports\
What we can do with these is right click the table file and select properties.
Then select Previous Versions and select a folder which was backed up before the data of the change in data. The list of files will take a few minutes to populate.
Once the list is populated open the file from the required date. You can then use this as the foundation to repopulate the required data.
