In order to access Rodo's network when outside of the office and to keep the connection secure and encrypted, you must connect to our VPN each morning and stay connected until you finish working.

Open the Forticlient application which is pinned to your taskbar, it looks like the below:

Once opened, you should see a Username box which displays your full name separated by a space and an empty Password box which allows you to enter your PC password.

Enter your PC password inside of this box and click Connect.

If the VPN gets stuck at 40%, check your taskbar to see whether another instance of the VPN is running as there is sometimes a security-certificate dialogue box in a separate window, asking whether you wish to proceed with the connection.

Once connected, you should see a window similar to the below:

You are able to close the application whilst you work as it will stay running in the background.

If you receive any errors such as the one above then double check whether the VPN is setup correctly.

To do this go to the three vertical lines next to "Rodo" and click "Edit the selected connection":

Make sure that the VPN is configured like below and in the rare instance that this is not the case, copy the information from below and click "Save".

Make sure that your Username is formatted as "forename surname".

NB - You may experience occasional VPN dropouts during the day which are usually related to the broadband connection within your area and these dropouts usually occur in the late afternoon.

Should your VPN connection drop, Profitmaster will kick you out of the system and you will need to contact the helpdesk in order to be unlogged.

If you connect to the VPN and are unable to access the K: and S: drives, reboot your laptop, reconnect to the VPN and then try again.

If you are still experiencing issues relating to your VPN connection, please contact the helpdesk.
